New WhatsApp update enables Google Drive backup option

WhatsApp was working to integrate Google Drive backup to let you save a copy of messages and multimedia to Google’s cloud storage. Now we can confirm the upcoming WhatsApp update build 2.12.45 brings exactly that feature. To enable it, you will have to first allow WhatsApp to access the Google Account on the Android phone.
