And few years back, I discovered an online company ShippyMe.com, who give out US Address if you register with them. With the US address you can register and open your online account with Amazon. If you buy anything from Amazon, they will send it to your US address, thus Shippyme will now send it to you here in Nigeria, very easy, just like that.
You have options of office pick-up from ShippyMe office in Ikeja or at their new facility in Yaba, Lagos. All you need is to follow this simple procedure I will outline below;
What you need?
A VISA or Master Card, Debit or Credit
Go to ShippyMe.com
Register with your full names and your Nigeria Address.
Once completed, an email containing your US address will be generated and send to your e-mail address, please keep it safe against your password.
Now go to Amazon.com
Click on New to Amazon
Create your account with secure password
Enter your full name and your password
When you get to address, please enter the earlier address that was sent to you from ShippyMe.com
Also don't forget, you will need a VISA or Master Card Debit or Credit Card to continue
Enter necessary information
When done, a confirmation email will be sent to you, from your inbox click on it to confirm your registration
Once done, go back to Amazon.com and start shopping
After shopping, go back to Shippyme.com and book a new Shipment, enter all necessary information where needed
Calculate your cost of shipment
You can pay either by Direct Transfer, Cash Deposit or Bank transfer into Shippyme account with GTBank and any other bank on their website.
Once payment is confirmed, Shippyme begins the process
and in less than 2-3 weeks your products/items arrives in Nigeria.
Shippyme also do mail alert on the status and tracking of your items, so you are updated on a regular basis and pictures of your items once received in their US facility will be uploaded to your Shippyme account where you can view it and also track your orders.
Why do I believe in Shippyme you may asked?. I had doubts too, but after lots of delivery I received through them, I say they are trying.
