Just this year alone, we all had witness the power of Facebook Messenger app for mobile and got adapted to its uniqueness and features. For this reason the social network giant has announced a new standalone Mobile App that focuses on one single aspect of the Facebook experience which is GROUPS.
The recently introduced Facebook Groups app has find its way to your favorite stores, that is the iTunes App Store for iOS and the Google Play Store for Android.
The purpose is to make Facebook Groups easier, helping you share things faster by providing you easier access to its functionality. The app shows groups sorted by number of use, and you can easily start a new group if the need be. Notifications for groups are shown inside the app too, and you can also control which notifications you want to see and more.
There’s a Discover tab as well, which shows group suggestions based on Pages you have liked in the past, groups your friends are in, and even where you live. Unlike what happened with the Facebook Messenger, you’ll still be able to use the Groups functionality inside the main Facebook app for iOS and Android, as well as on the Desktops and Laptops.
