BlackBerry Classic shows off keyboard shortcuts in new video

Blackberry Classic
For Blackberry fans, this Classic phone will be available come December, but you can have a preview of how the new phone works. Since the Classic features a traditional BlackBerry keyboard, it comes with some of the shortcuts that current or previous BlackBerry Bold users are certainly familiar with. Almost every letter on the QWERTY keyboard can be used as a shortcut for various functions (examples: long-press B to launch the browser, long-press N to launch BBM, long-press C to compose a message with BlackBerry Hub, and so on).

The New Classic runs on BlackBerry OS 10, and costs N79,000.00 ($449.00) unlocked. The  features include a 3.5-inch display with 720 x 720 pixels and a decent 291 ppi density, 2 MP front-facing camera, 8 MP rear camera, dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage space, and a 2515 mAh battery.

Though the BlackBerry Classic can already be pre-ordered in the US and Canada, it won’t start shipping before December 17. Until that day comes, BlackBerry thought it would be useful to share some of the keyboard shortcuts available on the new smartphone.

At the moment, we don’t know if any US carrier is planning to offer the new BlackBerry, but we’ll let you know if we hear anything about this.
