After a long wait, Meta-owned giant WhatsApp has rolled out its 'Message Yourself' feature for all iOS and Android users in India. The feature allows users to have a 1:1 conversation with themselves in the platform where they can send notes, updates, pictures and documents to themselves in their own chat.
The feature was earlier released for a few beta users for testing. With the help of this new feature, WhatsApp users can now send notes, reminders, shopping lists, and other things to themselves in order to manage their to-do lists.
This chat will only be visible to you and can also only be accessed by you. Nobody else on WhatsApp will be able to see the content that you share on the chat.
While the feature has just arrived on WhatsApp, the ability to chat with yourself has been available on Telegram, which is the instant-messaging platform's rival. Telegram has had the feature since the beginning of its existence.
