Apple is going to be 40 tomorrow

Apple is going to be 40 tomorrow and you won’t be surprised to hear it has a lot to celebrate. Firstly, it’s the most valuable company in the world, which is no mean feat considering it almost went bankrupt in 1997.

That’s when the late Steve Jobs returned to launch the iMac, the first of a string of hardware products that also included the iPod, iPhone and iPad. These devices cemented Apple’s place as an industry leader. Happy anniversary
